The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has postponed the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in light of the ongoing flood situation across the country.

Originally set for October 5, the test will now be held on October 26 (Sunday), the council announced in a statement.

The decision followed consultations with representatives from all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the PMDC, the move aims to safeguard students’ interests and ensure equal educational opportunities for all.
