Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo heard the case after the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) produced the accused on completion of his physical remand.

Investigators had sought an additional eight-day extension, which the court denied, sending him to judicial custody instead.

In a separate but similar case, social media influencer Mudassir Hussain was also produced before the court.

His physical remand was extended by four days, against the NCCIA’s request for a 15-day extension.

Ducky Bhai’s arrest and charges

According to investigators, Ducky Bhai allegedly promoted betting apps through his social media channels, profiting from advertisements in multiple videos.

He was arrested a couple of weeks ago at Lahore Airport, where authorities claim he was attempting to leave the country. His name had already been placed on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL) in connection with ongoing investigations.
