      <title>Punjab launches ‘clinic on boat’ service for flood victims</title>

&lt;p&gt;The initiative was launched after Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz issued instructions in this regard.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is prioritising healthcare, especially for women and children, in relief camps across flood-affected districts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A total of 986 “Clinics on Wheels” and medical relief camps have been established, staffed with doctors available for pregnant women and children’s health needs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The dedicated rural ambulance service ensures timely transportation to healthcare facilities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Special facilities have been put in place to treat various issues, including insect bites, skin infections, gastrointestinal diseases, Cholera and Malaria.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Additionally, routine vaccinations for newborns are also being conducted at relief camps.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to addressing the urgent healthcare needs of vulnerable populations impacted by the floods.&lt;/p&gt;
