The initiative was launched after Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz issued instructions in this regard.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is prioritising healthcare, especially for women and children, in relief camps across flood-affected districts.

A total of 986 “Clinics on Wheels” and medical relief camps have been established, staffed with doctors available for pregnant women and children’s health needs.

The dedicated rural ambulance service ensures timely transportation to healthcare facilities.

Special facilities have been put in place to treat various issues, including insect bites, skin infections, gastrointestinal diseases, Cholera and Malaria.

Additionally, routine vaccinations for newborns are also being conducted at relief camps.

The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to addressing the urgent healthcare needs of vulnerable populations impacted by the floods.
