Speaking to reporters during the visit, Aseefa Bhutto said her top priority is to ensure public safety and timely relief for those at risk.

She noted that medical camps are being established for flood-affected families, while efforts are underway to clear natural water channels to minimise potential dangers.

“I have come to Nawabshah to personally review the situation. Our first priority is the protection of people and immediate relief,” she said.

Aseefa stressed that preventive measures are being taken to mitigate risks as authorities brace for the flood inflows.
