      <title>Public holiday announced on Sept 6 for Eid Milad-un-Nabi</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The federal government has announced a nationwide public holiday on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1447 AH).&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Cabinet Division issued the notification following the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Eid Milad-un-Nabi, commemorating the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), is celebrated across Pakistan and many countries worldwide with deep religious devotion.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Traditionally, the day begins with a 31-gun salute in Islamabad and a 21-gun salute in provincial capitals, followed by special prayers after Fajr in mosques for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, as well as for Pakistan’s prosperity and security.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;On this occasion, streets, mosques, government buildings, and homes are illuminated with decorative lights, creating a festive atmosphere across the country.&lt;/p&gt;
