Pakistan’s two startups named in Forbes Asia ‘100 to Watch’ list 2025

Two Pakistani startups have secured spots in Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch List 2025, a recognition of their rapid growth, innovation, and potential to play a major role in the region’s future business landscape.

Forbes announced that Haball and PostEx were among the companies chosen for this year’s list, which spotlights emerging businesses across Asia-Pacific that demonstrate strong performance, innovation, and scalability.

Founded in 2017, Haball provides digital payments and Shariah-compliant financing solutions for businesses.

The fintech startup offers tools for invoice management, taxation, and working capital for SMEs. To date, it has processed transactions exceeding $3 billion.

In April 2025, Haball raised $52 million in funding, with Meezan Bank — Pakistan’s largest Islamic bank — as a key investor.

Established in 2020, PostEx has rapidly become a major player in Pakistan’s e-commerce logistics sector.

It not only manages nationwide parcel deliveries but also ensures instant cash-on-delivery settlements for merchants. In 2022, PostEx expanded its network by acquiring Call Courier, and it now operates in more than 500 cities across the country.

The startup has raised $7.03 million in funding and is preparing to launch services in the Middle East.

Industry experts say the inclusion of Haball and PostEx in Forbes’ list reflects the growing maturity of Pakistan’s startup ecosystem and its ability to attract global attention.

Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch list is considered a prestigious benchmark, showcasing small and rapidly growing businesses across the Asia-Pacific region.

Being featured provides companies with regional and international recognition, boosting their credibility with investors and customers alike.
