      <title>World Bank approves $47.9 million grant for education in Punjab</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The World Bank has sanctioned a grant of $47.9 million aimed at enhancing education and integrating out of school children in Punjab, Pakistan.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This funding is part of Global Partnership for Education Fund and is expected to benefit over 4 million children, including those in pre-primary  and primary education.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The primary goal of this initiative is to boost early education participation reintegrate out of school children into the educational system and strengthen provisions for children with disabilities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to a statement from the World Bank, the project will directly assist 80,000 out of school children and 140,000 children with disabilities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Additionally, it will encompass more than 3 million students enrolled in government schools and 8.5 million children in non-formal education institutions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The project will also focus on training and professional development for 100,000 teachers and school leaders, enhancing the over all quality of education.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The World Bank emphasised that this initiative will contribute to systemic reforms in Punjab and mark a significant step toward sustainable educational development in the province aligning with the Punjab government’s education reform agenda.&lt;/p&gt;
