      <title>Govt forms 11th NFC Award Commission, finance minister named chairman</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification for the formation of the 11th National Finance Commission (NFC) Award, appointing Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb as chairman of the commission.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The notification was approved by President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the notification, the 11th NFC Award will follow the 7th Award, with fresh representation from the provinces.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All four provincial finance ministers have been included as members of the commission along with technocrats from each province.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From Punjab, former bureaucrat Nasir Mahmood Khosa has been nominated, while Asad Saeed will represent Sindh.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The technocrat members also include Farmanullah from Balochistan and Musharraf Rasool from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The finance ministry confirmed that the commission constituted in July 2020 has now been dissolved.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the notification, the finance ministry will provide secretariat support to the commission.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The NFC will present its recommendations and proposals regarding the distribution of financial resources between the federation and the provinces.&lt;/p&gt;
