According to sources, the post-mortem revealed that Hussain was shot from very close range, giving the impression of suicide.

Investigators said no evidence of another person’s presence or interference was found either in the car or on his body.

Officials added that the results of Hussain’s blood samples are still awaited, which will help establish a clearer picture of the case.

Meanwhile, his family has so far refused to lodge a formal complaint.

Following the discovery of his body on August 16, Hussain’s remains were shifted to Hyderabad’s hospital mortuary.

At his brother Ejaz Hussain’s request, a detailed post-mortem was carried out under senior medical officers’ supervision.

Acting on official directives, a re-examination was later conducted at Hyderabad Civil Hospital, where CT scans and X-rays were performed.

A three-member medical board, including a forensic expert, collected additional samples for analysis.

After the post-mortem, his body was taken to his native village in Sanghar for burial, where a large number of relatives, fellow journalists, and locals attended the funeral.

Hussain had worked with various TV channels, including Aaj News.

Journalist unions had earlier expressed deep concern over his sudden death, demanding a thorough investigation, arrest of culprits, and stronger safety measures for media professionals.
