      <title>Floods claim 427 lives in KP; Pak Army leads relief operations</title>

&lt;p&gt;According to a report by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), 427 people have lost their lives in the province, including 321 men, 60 children and 46 women.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The report states that 270 people have been injured, including 182 men, 45 children and 43 women.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The intensity of the rains and floods has caused widespread destruction in various areas, and relief operations are underway to provide immediate assistance to the victims.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Flood victims are being moved to safer locations to reduce the risks to their lives.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Pakistan Army’s Corps of Engineers team is working to clear roads and remove debris, while the urban search and rescue teams are searching for the injured and the deceased.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Pakistan Army doctors have also set up camps in the affected areas and are providing treatment to the patients.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Peshawar, Hazara, Malakand, Kohat, Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda, Swabi, Chitral, Dera Ismail Khan, Swat, Buner, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Haripur, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Hangu, Karak, Laki Marwat, Bannu, Tank, D.I. Khan, and North and South Waziristan.&lt;/p&gt;
