Weather experts anticipate humid conditions and a cloudy sky over the next 24 hours, with humidity levels expected to range between 60 and 85 percent.

Intermittent rainfall continues to affect various areas of Karachi, resulting in water accumulation on several roads and disrupting traffic flow.

Heavy congestion is reported on the road from Civic Center to the Stadium, as well as on the route from Civic Center to the Central Jail.

Traffic is also hindered on the Nazimabad to Lasbela road due to water pooling, with additional reports of standing water in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Banaras, and Naghai Town.
Forecast of Heavy Rain

The Meteorological Department has forecasted thunderstorms and rain in the city through the afternoon, with the rainy spell expected to persist until August 22.

Officials noted that a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan, India, is anticipated to influence Karachi by the evening or night of August 18, marking the beginning of the rainfall.
