Lahore Police have lodged an FIR against a model and photographer for violating the sanctity of the historic Wazir Khan Mosque by recording an indecent video within its premises.

According to officials, the FIR was lodged at Akbari Gate Police Station on the complaint of Muhammad Owais, an official of the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA).

The complaint was filed against model Azbia Khan and photographer Zain Shah, accusing them of recording a video in “inappropriate attire” without seeking prior permission from the relevant authority.

Police said the action was taken after the video clip surfaced on social media.

The clip, reportedly filmed four days earlier, was uploaded online and quickly drew public attention.

The complainant alleged that the act not only violated the sanctity of the mosque but also damaged the reputation of the department.
