A heated argument broke out among members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during a parliamentary party meeting in Islamabad, during which the PTI lawmakers accused the party leadership of making compromises.

According to sources, several members opposed the boycott of the assembly session, arguing that attending the session was essential.

Some members expressed their frustration, saying, “if the National Assembly Speaker repeatedly asks us to come and sit in the House, then why don’t we?”

According to sources, several members opposed the boycott of the assembly session, arguing that attending the session was essential.

Some members expressed their frustration, saying, “If the Speaker repeatedly asks us to come and take our seats, then why don’t we?”

When the situation became intense, several leaders walked out of the parliamentary party meeting, while some members accused the leadership of compromising on key issues.

PTI lawmakers present at the meeting complained that they had worked hard on a bill, but when the time came to table it, the leadership chose to boycott the session.

The MNAs also raised questions about the party’s strategy for the proposed protest on August 14 and the decision to stage a protest on August 5.

Sources said that the MNAs complained that they were being kept in a state of confusion.

During the meeting, a scuffle also broke out between Iqbal Afridi and Sajid Mohmand, which was eventually defused by other members.

Iqbal Afridi also had a clash with Aamir Dogar during the meeting. Afridi wanted to speak about the Bajaur operation, but when Aamir Dogar stopped him, a heated argument broke out between the two.
