      <title>Girls sweep top positions in Karachi’s pre-medical intermediate exams</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the annual 2025 intermediate science pre-medical examinations, with girls securing all top three positions.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho, the pre-medical group recorded a pass percentage of 56.99%.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A total of 28,259 candidates were registered, of which 27,323 appeared for the exams. Out of these, 15,582 were declared successful.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Fatima Siddiqui of Bahria College Karsaz clinched first place with 1,021 marks out of 1,100, securing an A-1 grade.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The second position also went to Bahria College Karsaz’s Munazzah Khan, who scored 1,016 marks with an A-1 grade.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anusha Naveed of Emerging Technologies secured third place with 1,015 marks, also earning an A-1 grade.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Among the successful candidates, 1,996 secured A-1 grades, 3,401 obtained A grades, 4,707 secured B grades, 4,595 earned C grades, 1,878 obtained D grades, and 60 candidates passed with an E grade.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Congratulating the high achievers, Chairman Lakho said a special ceremony would be organised after the announcement of results for all groups to honour position holders along with their parents and teachers.&lt;/p&gt;
