The decision follows a hearing on the Central Power Purchasing Agency’s (CPPA) petition for the fourth quarter adjustment of fiscal year 2024–25.

While NEPRA has completed the hearing process, it will issue the final decision after a detailed review of the submitted data.

According to initial estimates, this reduction is expected to provide relief worth Rs53.39 billion to electricity consumers across the country.
