      <title>Dar and Rubio discuss trade tariffs, regional cooperation</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with  US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Monday, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral, regional, and global issues, including tariffs.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ishaq Dar, who is currently visiting the United States to attend a UN conference on Palestine, also met foreign dignitaries on the sidelines of the UN event.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In this connection, Dar met Towhid Hossain, adviser on foreign affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. This was the fourth meeting between the two leaders since October 2024.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed Pakistan-Bangladesh relations and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting political, economic, and cultural cooperation.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The two leaders expressed deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;They reiterated their unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate aspirations, and expressed hope for meaningful and constructive outcomes from the conference.&lt;/p&gt;
