Digital governance: CM KP Gandapur signs first e-summary

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur signed the province’s first-ever e-summary on Monday as the government remained committed to transforming governance.

The government has officially shifted administrative summaries to a newly introduced e-summary system, marking the launch of a paperless governance initiative.

According to officials, summaries requiring the Chief Minister’s approval will now be sent digitally.

Speaking on the development, CM Gandapur said the e-summary system is a significant step towards making government affairs paperless and efficient.

He added that in the next phase, the government will also introduce a digital “Note Part” system.

Official communications, notifications, and orders will also be digitised under the government’s vision.

The working papers and documentation for provincial cabinet meetings are now being transitioned to the digital system as well.

“This initiative will not only save time and resources but also eliminate delays in official processes,” said the chief minister. He added that the move would enhance transparency, improve departmental efficiency, and curb bureaucratic red tape in day-to-day governance.
