Speaking in Aaj News’ programme Rubaru, PTI Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram said that for many pilgrims it would be difficult to afford air travel. This decision will be a burden on poor pilgrims, he added.

He urged the government to reverse this decision as it would put a financial strain on the poor visitors.

Responding to a question about the possible visit of the sons of PTI founder, Sheikh Waqas said that Imran Khan’s sons have returned to London from the US.

“They will meet their father whenever they come. No date has been given by the family yet, nor has a schedule been announced. The party will stand with the founder’s sons when they come,” he added.

Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the party would not cooperate with the federal government on any operation that results in loss of lives.

Also, he said, the party could not engage with the federal government on the use of drones.
