&lt;p&gt;The remote village of Kandos in the Ghanche district presents a scene of devastation after a cloudburst, with flash floods stripping the area of life and vitality.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Search and rescue operations were underway after the flood in Thak nullah.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Restoration work on the Babusar-Jalkhad Road is progressing rapidly to restore access to the affected areas.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So far, a total of 10 people, including six tourists, have been confirmed dead.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Talking to Aaj News, Gilgit-Baltistan spokesperson Faizullah Faraq said that 10 people have died due to landslides and floods in Gilgit Baltistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The spokesperson said that all tourists have been evacuated from Ferry Meadows, and the Babusar Highway will be opened in 72 hours.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to estimates, the floods have caused losses exceeding Rs20 billion in Gilgit Baltistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Meanwhile, a 60-year-old woman was killed and two others were injured after the roof of their mud house collapsed in the Javedabad area of Haqripur in monsoon rain.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rescue teams pulled the deceased and injured from the rubble with the help of local people and shifted them to the trauma centre.&lt;/p&gt;
