      <title>Rains, floods devastate KP, 10 dead including children and women: PDMA</title>

&lt;p&gt;According to a report issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), 10 people have died in various accidents, including 6 children, 2 women and 2 men, while two people have been injured, including a woman and a child.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the report, the most affected districts include Bajaur, Buner, Upper Chitral, Shangla, Swat and Upper Kohistan. A man and a child were killed in a flash flood in Bajaur, a person lost his life in Buner, while a woman and five children were swept away in a tragic incident in Swat. A woman also lost her life in Upper Kohistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the PDMA, two houses were completely destroyed due to heavy rains and floods, while eight houses were partially damaged. Rescue operations are underway in the relevant districts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Meanwhile, the Met Office has warned that more rains are likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the coming days, due to which there is a risk of landslides and flooding in rivers and canals in several areas including Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kohat and Hangu.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the Met Office, rain fell in Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Nowshera and Kurram yesterday, while 54 mm of rain was recorded in Balakot, 25 mm in Parachinar and 3 mm in Malam Jabba.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The minimum temperature in Peshawar is 29 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to go up to 39 degrees.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Met Office and PDMA have directed citizens to avoid traveling near hills and canals and to contact the relevant institutions immediately in case of any emergency.&lt;/p&gt;
