KP govt plans to delay oath-taking of reserved seat members to ease political pressure

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s strategy to stop the swearing-in of newly elected members on reserved seats today has come to light. Important government sources have confirmed to Aaj News in an exclusive interview that an attempt will be made to stop the members taking the oath so that political pressure can be reduced.

According to sources, the party has prepared an alternative plan i.e. “Plan B”, after failing to convince the disgruntled Senate candidates.

Under this plan, an attempt will be made to prevent the quorum from being met in the swearing-in session, so that the session can be postponed. If the session is postponed, it will not be possible for the newly elected members of the assembly to take the oath on reserved seats.

The opposition alliance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also rolled up its sleeves, an important consultative meeting is held at the Governor House

Party sources say that contacts are also ongoing with the parliamentary parties of the PTI so that this strategy can be made successful.
