&lt;p&gt;A state of emergency has been declared in the area, while the authorities have asked residents to stay away from areas considered dangerous.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Several areas in and around Jhelum have been flooded after recent rains, and the situation is expected to worsen.&lt;/p&gt;
