Speaking at the National Day ceremony in Iowa, President Trump told the audience that his administration stopped wars between five countries, including averting a potential nuclear conflict between Pakistan and India. He also claimed credit for halting hostilities between Kosovo and Serbia.

Highlighting further achievements, Trump said the decades-long war between Congo and Rwanda which he stated had claimed six million lives was brought to an end due to US intervention.

Expressing his disappointment with the Nobel selection process, Trump remarked that the prize often goes to unknown school professors instead of leaders who deliver real results.

The President also asserted that Iran’s nuclear facilities had been neutralized under his watch and that American military power remains unmatched. He noted that US fighter jets flew non-stop for 37 hours as part of operations demonstrating American strength.

Trump announced that a new bill would completely stop illegal border crossings and that the largest deportation plan in US history had been launched.

Emphasizing economic progress, he said the US stock market is performing strongly and promised that the economy would surpass past records, pledging to make America “strong, safe, and great again.”

It is worth noting that President Trump has been nominated for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize by a Republican member of Congress for his role in brokering the Israel-Iran ceasefire.

Earlier, in recognition of his diplomatic intervention during the Pakistan-India crisis, the government of Pakistan also announced it had recommended Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize and sent a letter of endorsement to the Norwegian Nobel Committee.
