The PML-N is expected to send new nominations soon, while the JUI-F seat remains under judicial review.

The two PML-N seats became vacant after Sobia Shahid and Shehla Bano took oath as members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

The party is preparing to send new names to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for appointment to the vacant seats.

Meanwhile, the case concerning JUI-F’s Sadaf Ehsan’s reserved seat is currently pending in the Supreme Court, and any further action will be taken following the court’s decision.

Separately, PML-N leader Irum Hamid has been elected to the National Assembly on a women’s reserved seat vacated by Bushra Anjum Butt, who recently became a senator. Irum is expected to take the oath in the upcoming NA session.

Following the latest ECP notification on reserved seats, the total number of members in the National Assembly has reached 333.

The PML-N has become the largest party in the lower house with 123 seats, followed by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) with 74 seats.

Currently, JUI-F holds 10 seats, while the Sunni Ittehad Council commands 80 seats in the lower house.
