Addressing the media, Memon revealed that financial autonomy will be granted to 34,000 public schools across the province starting from the next quarter.

This move is aimed at improving education standards and strengthening school management systems.

He further shared that the Sindh government is heavily investing in the healthcare sector, with priority funding being released for the expansion of SIUT, PPHI, NICVD, and Chandka Medical College Hospital, along with upgrades to ambulance services.

Highlighting urban infrastructure development, the minister said that a special development package for Karachi will soon roll out projects related to roads, water supply, sewerage, and mass transit systems.

He announced that following the launch of 50 electric buses, an additional 100 electric buses will be introduced by August.

The senior minister also revealed that under the Benazir Hari Card, a phased subsidy will be provided to 200,000 farmers, reaffirming the provincial government’s commitment to the timely execution of all development projects.
