Speaking at the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul, Dar urged Muslim countries to unite against Israel’s continued hostilities in the region.

“Israel is a terrorist state involved in terrorism both in Iran and Gaza,” he stated.

“Its aggression is pushing the Middle East into deeper instability. The world must stop turning a blind eye to its crimes.”

Dar reaffirmed that Iran has the legitimate right to defend itself under the United Nations Charter, and criticised the double standards in global response to Israeli actions.

He also emphasized that dialogue is the only viable solution to the Iran-Israel conflict, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability.

“We will continue playing our role to de-escalate tensions and promote peace across the region,” he said.

Highlighting the dire situation in Gaza, Dar called for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire, stressing the humanitarian crisis there demands urgent global attention.

In his concluding remarks, Dar addressed South Asian issues, stating that “a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir conflict is essential for lasting regional peace.”

He warned India against obstructing Pakistan’s water rights, saying: “If India attempts to stop Pakistan’s water, it will be considered an act of war.”
