“I call on countries with influence over Israel not to listen to its poison. A solution must be found via dialogue,” said Erdogan while addressing an Organisation of Islamic Cooperation meeting in Istanbul, referring to attacks on Iran, Gaza and other Middle East states.

Erdogan said Israeli attacks on Iran were intended to undermine nuclear negotiations between Washington and Tehran.

“This incident also shows that Netanyahu [and his government] … do not want any issues or any matters to be solved diplomatically,” he said.

“Netanyahu’s Zionist ambitions have no other purpose than to drag our region and … the whole world into a big disaster.”

He also called on Muslim countries to increase their efforts to impose punitive measures against Israel on the basis of international law and United Nations resolutions.

Pakistan is being represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar at the OIC meeting, where he is set to deliver a key address outlining Pakistan’s position on pressing issues facing the Muslim world.

During his speech, Dar will highlight Pakistan’s diplomatic priorities, focusing on the situations in Palestine and Kashmir, the rise of Islamophobia, and growing regional tensions.

Notably, at the summit, Ishaq Dar is seated alongside his Iranian counterpart, symbolizing a moment of regional diplomacy and cooperation amid shifting alliances in the Muslim world.

According to diplomatic sources, several significant bilateral meetings are scheduled on the sidelines of the summit.

These include Ishaq Dar’s meetings with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

These engagements are expected to cover a range of issues, including regional stability, economic cooperation, and mutual strategic interests.
