Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited Mayo Hospital on Tuesday after experiencing discomfort in her shoulder, reportedly due to a demanding schedule and continuous workload.

According to hospital sources, the chief minister underwent an MRI scan at the Surgical Tower, where she was examined by a team of senior doctors.

Present during the visit were Vice Chancellor of King Edward Medical University, Professor Dr Mahmood Ayaz, and Mayo Hospital CEO, Professor Dr Haroon Hameed.

Medical experts said that the MRI report returned normal, with no signs of complications.

The preliminary diagnosis attributed the shoulder pain to physical strain and fatigue.

Following the examination and test results, CM Maryam Nawaz left the hospital.

Hospital officials confirmed her condition is satisfactory, and that proper rest is expected to lead to full recovery.
