“In order to ensure the safety and security of our nationals and Zaireen in Iran, we have activated a 24/7 Crisis Management Unit (CMU) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced on X (formerly Twitter).

Earlier, Dar “strongly condemned” the Israeli strikes, stating that they had “shaken the foundations of international law as well as the conscience of humanity.”

He added that the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran had been directed to provide all possible assistance and facilitation to Pakistani citizens and pilgrims in Iran.

He also shared the embassy’s emergency hotline number: (+98) 21-6694-1388.

Earlier, the Foreign Office spokesperson said that the Israeli military strikes violated the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran and contravene the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law.
