Talking to Aaj News, Aslam clarified that his responsibility was only to prepare the budget in line with the PTI founder’s instructions.

“I have formulated the budget as per the directives of the party’s founding chairman and handed it over to the government,” he said.

He further added that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has already briefed the PTI founder on the budget proposals. “The budget was crafted strictly in accordance with his guidance,” Aslam emphasized.

However, Aslam noted he has been trying to meet the PTI founder for the past month. “I’m neither here nor there in the decision-making,” he remarked candidly, implying that his role in the budget’s approval process is limited.

Aslam concluded that it is up to the party’s founder to decide whether the budget will be tabled and approved.
