Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid over the next 24 hours, with partly cloudy skies, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Sea breezes have resumed and are expected to blow at speeds between 20 and 45 kilometers per hour. Humidity levels are likely to remain high, ranging from 50% to 75%, making the temperature feel 4 to 6 degrees Celsius warmer than the actual readings.

The city’s maximum temperature today is expected to range between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius. On Monday, the highest temperature in Karachi reached 34.4 degrees Celsius.

Elsewhere in the country, a severe heatwave continues to affect multiple regions. The weather in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is forecast to stay hot and dry.

Similar conditions are expected in Punjab and Balochistan, where the ongoing heatwave is predicted to last until June 12. Temperatures in these areas are likely to remain 4 to 7 degrees Celsius above normal.
