During the hearing, the judge criticized the investigating officer for failing to present the challan despite the passage of over five months. “Every time, more time is requested how long will this go on?” the court questioned sternly.

Advocate Shaukat Hayat, representing the female suspect, also raised objections, saying that the case was being unnecessarily prolonged with no meaningful progress.

The investigating officer, once again, requested additional time but assured the court that the final charge sheet would be submitted at the next hearing.

Issuing a final warning, the court granted a deadline of June 10 and ordered the submission of the challan without fail, cautioning that further delays would not be tolerated.
