A formal notification has been issued by the Sindh government’s School Education and Literacy Department, directing all directors, principals, and headmasters stated that to implement these changes immediately.

Notice said “All Directors, DEOs, TEOs, Head Masters, Head Mistresses, Principals of Government Schools, and Heads of Allied Institutions are directed to discontinue the tradition of presenting Ajrak, Topi and any other types of gift during official meetings, functions, or ceremonies. Additionally, the tradition of having children welcoming the guests, delegates and officers of the secretariat must be stopped.”

Additionally, the tradition of presenting ajrak, Sindhi caps, or any gifts during official functions has been discontinued.

The Sindh government has emphasized that all institutions must fully comply with these orders, with strict penalties for any violations.
