According to official sources, the day will begin with Qur’an recitations and special prayers in mosques across the country. A 31-gun salute will be held in the federal capital, while 21-gun salutes will take place in provincial capitals.

Flag-hoisting ceremonies are scheduled in Islamabad and all provincial capitals. Additionally, changing of the guards ceremonies will be held at the Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi and Mazar-e-Iqbal in Lahore.

Wreath-laying and prayer ceremonies will be held at monuments of martyrs, and special meetings with the families of the martyrs of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos are also planned.

The main event of Youm-e-Tashakur will be held tomorrow night at the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad. The ceremony will be attended by notable figures from all walks of life. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be the chief guest, while the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and heads of the armed forces will also be in attendance.
