According to the PAA, passengers are advised to contact airlines for information regarding flight operations.

They confirmed that the airports will not be available due to operational reasons.

Pakistan has officially raised concerns with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) about the risks to civil aviation safety caused by India’s actions.

Earlier, the PAA had announced the suspension of flight operations at Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot airports temporarily.

According to the PAA, Lahore and Sialkot airports will remain unavailable for all flights until 12pm today.

The suspension has affected both domestic and international flight schedules.

PAA spokesperson Saifullah Khan told Dawn that only a few routes between Lahore and Islamabad will remain closed, while other routes between the two cities will continue to operate.

Flights arriving or departing from Islamabad International Airport must contact the Islamabad Air Traffic Control (ATC) before starting their engines to get clearance.
