PTI founding chairman Imran Khan’s lawyer Intezar Hussain Panjutha had submitted a request for a meeting with the party founder, proposing a list of six senior political aides, including Syed Fakhr e Jehan, Sohail Khan, Shahid Ahmed Khattak,Mian Ghous Muhammad, Azhar Tariq, and Bilal Umer Bodla.

However, the holiday has forced a delay, and the meeting is now expected to be rescheduled for next week.

According to jail officials, visits are suspended during public holidays for security and administrative reasons.

They added that families of inmates and relevant parties had already been informed about the restriction.

Authorities expect to release the regular visitation schedule at the start of next week, at which point the PTI founder is likely to meet with his political colleagues.
