“We are with the victims and we condemn it. Whatever our government says, we will do. We don’t play with Pakistan in bilateral series because of the government’s stand,” he said, Sports Tak.

“And we will not play with Pakistan in bilateral going forward. But when it comes to the ICC event, we play due to ICC engagement.”

“ICC is also aware that whatever is happening, they will do it,” he said.

India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since Pakistan’s limited-overs tour of India in 2012-13. The last time India toured Pakistan was in 2008.

Currently, the two teams only face each other in multinational tournaments.

While Pakistan participated in the ODI World Cup 2023 hosted by India, India declined to visit Pakistan for the upcoming 2025 Champions Trophy.

Instead, their matches—including the one against Pakistan and the final—will be held in Dubai.
