In a statement posted on X via an account attributed to the PTI founder, Khan stated, “Had I been interested in striking a deal, I would have accepted the offer made two years ago — an offer that proposed complete legal immunity in exchange for silence. I rejected it then, and I reject any such notion now.”

The statement further addressed reports about PTI leaders Ali Amin Gandapur and Azam Swati expressing a willingness to negotiate. “They may have desired talks, but in my view, such negotiations are meaningless when the opposing side shows no interest in resolving issues.

Ali Amin and Azam Swati wanted to talk on their own. I have always maintained — and I reiterate — that as a political party, we are open to dialogue.“

Khan emphasised that the doors to negotiation have never been shut, but any dialogue must be rooted in constitutional supremacy, the rule of law, and public interest, not personal gains for him or his wife.

The statement also declared, “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is the only genuine national political force capable of mobilising a countrywide movement without any foreign backing. A political party only weakens when it loses public support, and right now, the entire nation stands firmly with PTI.”
