This feature officially launched earlier this month for Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 users.

Google stated that it would soon be available to all Android users, but has now opted to remove the subscription requirement due to positive feedback on its functionality.

The rollout of the screensharing feature will begin today, with availability expanding over the coming weeks.

Users can view a demonstration video from Google that illustrates how the feature works, including scenarios such as sharing views from an aquarium.

Additionally, this announcement coincides with Microsoft’s launch of its own AI tool, Copilot Vision, which is also offered for free in the Edge browser.
