The protest aimed at demanding the release of Mahrang Baloch and other female activists from the Baloch Unity Committee (BYC).

Mengal emphasized that the party’s stance remains firm and uncompromising regarding these demands.

Following a stalled negotiation with the government, a multi-party conference (MPC) was held in Lakkpass, where various political groups rejected recent national security policies and called for the immediate release of all detained women and activists.

Mengal expressed disappointment over the government’s refusal to allow the long march to enter Quetta, labeling this attitude as contrary to democratic values.

He confirmed that the scope of the protest movement will be expanded, with public rallies planned in every district of Balochistan to exert pressure on the government to accept their demands.
