Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says the government will take measures to ensure that neither flour prices rise nor farmers suffer losses.

In a special meeting chaired by CM Maryam Nawaz, she reaffirmed her commitment to protecting farmers’ interests and fulfilling her earlier promise made during the wheat harvesting season.

Maryam Nawaz states that the upcoming Kisan Package will be unique, exceptional, and highly beneficial for wheat growers. “Insha’Allah (By the grace of God), farmers will receive full compensation for their hard work,” she adds.

She emphasizes that the government aims to strike a balance where flour remains affordable for the public, while farmers earn fair returns. “Our farmer brothers worked day and night and responded to my call by cultivating a record wheat crop,” she says.

Maryam Nawaz also highlights that thanks to the farmers’ dedication, Punjab has met its wheat cultivation targets. The government, she assures, will protect both farmers and the common man.
