According to a report sent by the Pakistani Embassy in Libya to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the incident occurred on April 12 near the Harawa coast, close to the city of Sirte in eastern Libya.

So far, 11 bodies have been recovered from the site of the accident, with four identified as Pakistani nationals.

A team from the Pakistani Embassy visited Sirte to gather information and confirmed the identities of the four Pakistanis using national identification documents.

Among the deceased, Zahid Mahmood, son of Liaqat Ali, was from Gujranwala, while Sameer Ali (son of Raja Abdul Qadeer), Syed Ali Hussain (son of Shafqat-ul-Hassanain), and Asif Ali (son of Nazar Muhammad) were from Mandi Bahauddin.

Two of the remaining bodies have yet to be identified, while five others have been confirmed as Egyptian nationals.

The Pakistani Embassy remains in contact with local authorities to gather further details about the incident.
