According to the KP Education Department, the scheme will initially cover remote areas, including Kohistan, Torghar, Hangu, and Lakki Marwat, regions where a lack of transportation often prevents girls from attending school.

The program will also extend to other districts, such as Dera Ismail Khan, Charsadda, Kohat, and Bannu, ensuring a wider impact.

District Education Officers have been directed to implement the initiative promptly.

The goal is to eliminate transportation as a barrier to education.

In a parallel development, the Punjab government has introduced a student-friendly travel initiative, approving a special student travel card to facilitate access to mass transit systems.

The plan, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, also includes free travel for disabled individuals and senior citizens.
