According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the country received an impressive $4.1 billion in remittances in March 2025, reflecting a substantial year-on-year growth of 37.3%.

The surge has also boosted the cumulative figure for the ongoing fiscal year.

Over the first nine months of FY2024–25, total remittances have reached $28 billion, significantly higher than the $21 billion received during the same period last fiscal year.

The SBP noted that the highest inflows in March came from Saudi Arabia, amounting to $987.3 million.
