      <title>Punjab’s plant for Pakistan campaign plants more than 233,000 trees</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;In a eco-friendly initiative dubbed “Plant for Pakistan,” the Punjab government has successfully planted over 233,000 trees around brick kilns in just 25 days, as reported by Punjab Environment Secretary Raja Jahangir Anwar.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Punjab Environment Agency has made substantial strides in its afforestation campaign at these sites, according to Imran Hameed Sheikh, the Director General of Environment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since March 21, a total of 233,656 trees have been planted across various divisions in the province, with notable contributions of 18,600 saplings in Multan Division and 29,051 saplings in Gujranwala Division.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Spokesman for the Punjab Environment Agency, Sajid Bashir, shared the following breakdown of saplings planted in different divisions:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;•	&lt;strong&gt;Lahore Division:&lt;/strong&gt; 73,200 saplings&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;•	&lt;strong&gt;Faisalabad Division:&lt;/strong&gt; 21,244 saplings&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;•	&lt;strong&gt;Bahawalpur Division:&lt;/strong&gt; 23,743 saplings&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;•	&lt;strong&gt;Sahiwal Division:&lt;/strong&gt; 18,996 saplings&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;•	&lt;strong&gt;Sargodha Division:&lt;/strong&gt; 22,676 saplings&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;•	&lt;strong&gt;Dera Ghazi Khan Division:&lt;/strong&gt; 14,260 saplings&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;•	&lt;strong&gt;Rawalpindi Division:&lt;/strong&gt; 8,087 saplings&lt;/p&gt;
