During the visit, various agreements were finalized, including a readmission agreement and a cooperation pact between the interior ministries of both nations.

A roadmap for military-technical cooperation for the years 2025 to 2027 was also established, coordinated between Belarus’s military industry authority and Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence Production.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko welcomed the Prime Minister in his speech, highlighting the importance Belarus places on its relationship with Pakistan and the potential for new dimensions in bilateral ties.

In addition, memorandums of understanding were signed between Belarus’s financial cooperation fund for businesses and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), as well as a cooperation agreement between the Belarus Chamber of Industry and Trade and Pakistan’s Trade Development Authority.

An agreement for the exchange of postal items was reached between Pakistan Post and Belarus Post, along with a memorandum of understanding between the Frontier Works Organization and JS Global Capital Limited.

hosted a dinner in honor of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at his farmhouse.**

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar attended the dinner.

President Lukashenko expressed extraordinary warmth for Prime Minister Sharif and Nawaz.

Visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz arrived in Belarus on Thursday for a two-day official visit to the Republic of Belarus from April 10 to 11, 2025, at the invitation of President Aleksandr Lukashenko.

Belarus Prime Minister Alexander Turchin and officials of Pakistan embassy in Belarus warmly welcomed the prime minister.

The two sides are also expected to sign several agreements to further strengthen cooperation.
