According to reports, the global price of gold rose by $30 per ounce, reaching $3,040 per ounce. This international hike has directly impacted the local market, where the price of gold has recorded a significant rise.

In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola (approximately 11.66 grams) increased by Rs3,000, while the cost of 10 grams rose by Rs2,572.

As a result, the new price of gold per tola in local markets now stands at Rs321,000, and the price for 10 grams has reached Rs275,205.

This increase has led to heightened activity in local bullion markets as investors and jewelers respond to the global trend.
