In the black market, petrol prices have skyrocketed, reaching between 600 and 800 rupees per liter.

In response to their grievances, protesters have been holding demonstrations outside the Press Club for the past 34 days, urging the authorities to reopen the main road for public access.

On a positive note, the district administration has reported that the demolition of bunkers is proceeding swiftly under the Kohat peace initiative.

Recent data indicates that 635 bunkers have been demolished in Upper Kurram, while 353 have been taken down in Lower Kurram, making a cumulative total of 988 bunkers eliminated across the district.
