The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who emphasized the need for effective measures to address terrorism.

The committee has resolved to raise the issue of terrorism with the Afghan government through the Foreign Ministry.

Minister Naqvi announced plans to transform the Frontier Corps into a “National Reserve Police,” aiming to bolster security forces.

In addition, the establishment of Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Centers is underway, with a commitment to involve provincial consultations in all decisions.

Naqvi stressed the necessity of fully activating the Counter-Terrorism Department at both federal and provincial levels.

He assured that maximum assistance would be provided to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, declaring that the security of foreign nationals would be ensured at all costs.

The interior minister reiterated the commitment to providing foolproof security for foreign citizens, highlighting that political and military leadership, along with stakeholders, are united in the fight against terrorism.
