Trinasolar expands footprint in Pakistan with new high-performance solar modules

Trinasolar has strengthened its position in Pakistan’s renewable energy market by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with leading distributors Mesol, Diwan, NMC Group, and Premier Energy.

The announcement was made at the Solar Pakistan 2025 exhibition in Lahore, marking a significant step toward enhancing the availability of Trinasolar’s advanced high-efficiency solar modules nationwide.

The company is introducing its latest 210mm n-type i-TOPCon Vertex N modules, designed to deliver higher power output, greater efficiency, and enhanced durability.

These include the Vertex N 725W (NEG21C.20), Vertex N 645W (NEG19RC.20), and DUOMAX N 600W (NEG18C.20).

With bifacial technology, these modules generate more electricity from reflected sunlight, ensuring superior performance even in high temperatures and low-light conditions.

The technology also lowers the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), making solar investments more cost-effective for businesses and homeowners.

Industry leaders have welcomed the move, citing the potential of Trinasolar’s high-performance modules in transforming Pakistan’s energy landscape.

Yousuf Allahwala, Director of Mesol, highlighted the modules’ unmatched efficiency, while Saleem Diwan, CEO of Diwan, emphasised the long-term reliability and cost savings.

Mudassir Mukhtar, CEO of NMC Group, called the partnership a major boost for renewable energy adoption, and Usman Mubarak, Director of Premier Energy, said it would help meet the country’s evolving energy needs.

Trinasolar continues to lead the global solar industry, recently surpassing 170GW in 210mm module shipments and earning recognition as a BNEF Tier 1 Energy Storage Manufacturer.

Edison Zhou, Head of Pakistan, Australia, and New Zealand at Trinasolar, expressed confidence that these agreements would play a vital role in Pakistan’s transition toward a more sustainable energy future.

As the country accelerates its shift to solar energy, Trinasolar’s cutting-edge technology is expected to drive greater energy efficiency and long-term sustainability in Pakistan’s power sector.
